Engage

Safe Streets, Stronger Community. River Falls Moves Forward, Together.

Why we need your help

The River Falls Safety Action Plan must reflect the values of the community. Projects and strategies recommended by the Safety Action Plan must be informed by safety challenges identified by the community. We need your help identifying systemic issues as well as specific locations where enhancements are needed to create a safer transportation system.

How can you get involved?

There are a few ways you can get involved with the River Falls Safety Action Plan.

  • Take our online survey. Tell us which streets and intersections you feel safe using and which ones feel unsafe. This survey will be available this summer. Help us hear the voices of the community by spreading this survey to your networks. Please have your family, friends, and neighbors fill out this survey.

  • Visit our in-person events. We will be at several events throughout the summer and early fall, so please keep a look out on this page.

    • River Falls Days - July 12th at Meet River Falls. Stop by our booth and chat with us, take a survey, comment on our map, and grab a frozen treat.

    • More events to come

  • Join our email list.  We will send out updates over the course of the project that will include project news, information on how you can get involved, and more. Sign up here!

  • Get social with us. We will be posting information about the project on the City's social media accounts. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube (or all three!) to stay in the know.

The survey

This is a two-part survey. The first part is a form to be filled out. Please fill it out and click submit. Then you will be directed to an interactive web map where you can identify locations, streets, and areas where you feel unsafe and safe.
