What is a Safety Action Plan?
Crashes that lead to death or life altering injuries are preventable, and eliminating serious injuries and fatalities is possible through strategic and sustained action. As things change in and around River Falls, there is no better time to commit to reduce and ultimately eliminate roadway deaths and serious injuries while demonstrating what a positive safety culture looks and feels like.

The Safe System Approach is a roadway safety strategy focused on preventing fatal and serious injuries through a coordinated approach that proactively addresses human vulnerabilities. It emphasizes shared responsibility and includes five key elements: safe roads, safe speeds, safe vehicles, safe road users, and post-crash care.
